This cake belongs to the USA, it's very simple and has got a particular taste similar to Apple strudel... We really enjoyed it, cook it!

Ingredients (for 4 people):
225 g of flour;
50 ml of warm water;
110 g of butter;
Little salt;
500 g of apples;
Half a spoon of cinnamon powder;
1 lemon;
A little of milk;
A little of caramel.

Cut the peeled apples into small cubes and put them into a bowl with a mixture of water and lemon juice (1), mix the soft butter, salt, flour and water (2). Store the mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes (cover it with a paper of plastic wrap). Drain the apples (3).
Allow to warm the caramel into a pan (4). Add little butter, apples, cinnamon and the grated lemon peel (5). Turn off the heat when the apples become soft. Allow to cool into a bowl (6).
Cut the mixture in two parts. Take one of these and put it into a cake pan (7) and stuff with the apples (8). Cover with the other part of mixture. Make some small holes on the edge with a fork and five stripes in the central part. Spread little milk on the surface (9), then bake at 180°C (453.15 K) and allow to cool slightly before serving.
